101 FREEWAY MOORPARK ROAD RAMPS TO CLOSE

THOUSAND OAKS — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans)
will close the Moorpark Road off-ramps from the northbound and southbound
Ventura Freeway (U.S. 101) beginning 10 p.m. Friday, April 1 until 6 a.m.
Monday, April 4.

The ramps are being closed in relation to a 12.6-mile pavement
rehabilitation project on the Ventura Freeway (U.S. 101) between Westlake
Boulevard in Thousand Oaks and Pleasant Valley Road in Camarillo.

Motorists can expect intermittent late-night closures of up to two lanes
and various ramps. No two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same
time. More detailed closure information will be posted as it becomes
available.

Security Paving is the contractor on this $57 million project, expected to
finish by summer 2011.

Two additional segments of the freeway pavement ? between Las Virgenes Road
in Calabasas and the Ventura County Line and between Santa Rosa Road in
Camarillo and Padre Juan Canyon Road in Ventura ? also will be
rehabilitated. Those projects are anticipated to begin by late spring,
2011.

The project will provide a smoother ride and extend the life of the
pavement.
