There are two things today that area residents should remember.
1) Agoura High School is working with Burgerwerkz Charbroil Grill to raise money for a safe and sober Grad Nite. 15% of your total purchase (before tax) goes to Grad Nite. Burgerwerkz is new to Westlake Village and has a variety of salads, veggie burgers, hot dogs, and grilled chicken sandwiches. Show the flyer enclosed for the donation. 30869 E. 2) The EPA is presenting tonight it’s “EPA Malibu Creek Workshop” now set for Wednesday, May 1 at 6:30 pm, at Agoura Hills City Hall. The proposed standards are now projected at $8050 per water district customer, plus additional for ongoing operating and management expenses. In other words, your monthly water bill is projected to increase by at least $78 per bill for the next 30 years. Anyone attending tonight’s meeting is encouraged to voice opinions, or better yet, ask questions of the water district and the EPA.
