The City of Westlake Village will kick off its 10th season of summer entertainment on May 31. The performance starts at 7:00 pm. “The Latigo Kid Restaurant” will be on site offering family friendly dinners for sale.

“Jazz Night” is part of a series of four Friday night events sponsored by the City of Westlake Village that are geared for the entire family. Upcoming “TGIF” events at the Civic Center” include selections from Cabrillo Music Theater’s production of “Legally Blonde” on June 28, an outdoor movie screening of “Ratatouille” on July 26, and “New West Symphony Presents Danielle Belen and Quattro” on August 30.

In addition to these four events, the City will continue to host “Saturdays in the Park.” This series will feature three concerts in the park on Saturday nights at Berniece Bennett Park. The series kicks off on June 15 with “A Tribute to “Elvis featuring Raymond Michael.” Additional concerts will feature a “Queen” tribute on July 20 and a “Beatles” tribute on August 17. “Saturdays in the Park” begin at 7:00 pm.

The four TGIF events will be held at the Westlake Village Civic Center, 31200 Oak Crest Drive. The three “Saturday in the Park” events will be held at Berniece Bennett Park, 31800 Village Center Drive. These outdoor performances are free to the public and families are encouraged to attend. Please bring lawn chairs and picnic baskets for a delightful early evening summer performance. As the temperatures drop in the evening hours, it is helpful to bring warmer attire to best enjoy the entertainment. Food will be available for sale at each event starting at 6:00 pm.
