Due to the extreme heat this afternoon, the California ISO has called a Flex Alert. Flex Alerts are voluntary calls for consumers to conserve electricity.
They are asking for everyone in California to take three simple actions:
Turn off all unnecessary lights
Postpone using major appliances until after 9:00 p.m.
Set your air conditioning to 78° or higher
