Los Angeles County Sheriff has just released the news that a bear was struck by a vehicle on the northbound 101 freeway at Lindero Canyon Blvd. this evening at approximately 10:20 pm. Motorists are being cautioned to slow down when driving in this area as traffic may be impacted. California Highway Patrol, Los Angeles County Animlal Control and Department of Fish and Game have been notified.
