At 11:21 this morning, Ventura County Fire Department and CAL FIRE responded to a vegetation fire near Lake Sherwood (East Potrero Rd & Pixton St in the Ventura County side of Westlake Village). There are now almost 30 units and almost 80+ firefighters on the scene. As of noon, the fire was at 5 acres, and VCFD has structure protection in place.
