This summer the LVEF sent a team of LVUSD teachers to the Annual Model Schools Conference where they learned new, innovative, and creative methods to increase the quality learning experience for their students in the classroom.
These are challenging times for education. And these challenges bring opportunities that rise above and beyond budget discussions. Staff development has been significantly cut. LVEF recognizes the value of ?teachers learning about teaching? so we have made an ongoing commitment to sending a LVUSD teacher team to learn, to implement in their classrooms, and to share this information with other teachers in the District, parents, and our community.
The team will present the methods that made the most impact on them. These new approaches are already being used in classrooms. The topics presented will reflect our goal of showcasing the exciting programs and opportunities that are examples of the quality learning happening in LVUSD classrooms today.
SAVE THE DATE: November 11th and see the exciting world of
21st Century Learning that is taking place in our classrooms.
