HAMPSHIRE FIRE UPDATE
8:50am The brush fire burning near Highway 101 in Thousand Oaks remains 50 percent contained at 51 acres. Firefighters worked overnight to prevent the fire from growing. Parts of the fire are in very rough terrain but firefighters expect to make significant progress today and achieve full containment sometime later in the day. More than 100 firefighters remain on the lines.
