What: Brush Fire
Where: Near Hwy. 101 and Rancho Rd. in Thousand Oaks
When: The fire was reported at 11:23 on Sunday, October 4.
Evacuations: Residents in the Rimrock Ln., Colt Ln., Skyline and Tamarack area should begin preparing.
Road Closures: Tamarack, Skyline, Rimrock, Brook Glen and Hart Glen Rds. are closed due to fire activity.
Notes: The Rancho Fire is now at 10 acres and growing. More than 300 firefighters are currently battling the blaze. Additional fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters are also responding. For information on wildfire preparedness, go to http://vcreadysetgo.org
