WALK-UP FLU SHOT CLINIC NOVEMBER 20
10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Calvary Community Church,
5495 Via Rocas, Westlake Village
While Supplies Last

The cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Malibu, and Westlake Village, along with Calvary Community Church, and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, are partnering in an emergency preparedness Point of Distribution (POD) exercise. As part of this exercise, free seasonal flu vaccine and/or a vaccine against pneumococcal disease (PPSV) and/or Tdap for whooping cough will be offered to community residents. The exercise will take place at Calvary Community Church, 5495 Via Rocas in Westlake Village. Using a walk-up format, residents who meet the age requirements (minimum of 6 months old) and vaccine guidelines will be given the appropriate vaccine. Vaccines will be offered free of charge.

Residents are encouraged to participate in this exercise and to help city, county, law enforcement officials, along with volunteers practice emergency readiness, using a POD model. This POD exercise strengthens public safety agencies’ ability to dispense preventative medications to large groups in a relatively short period of time in the event of a future wide-spread public health disaster. Vaccines will be offered while supplies last. For more information on vaccines and/or eligibility, please visit www.flu.gov.
