For those that live in City of Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and Hidden Hills, the upcoming election on November 3rd has a single item to vote on … board members for the Las Virgenes Unified School District. (See https://westlakerevelations.com/?q=node/172)
On each ballot, voters will choose three out of four candidates for the open school board member positions. (In other words, voters will make their top three choices, not just one.)
A single contest does not make an election any less important. If anything, each vote may have an even greater impact. This makes voting by mail an even more attractive alternative as it is the fastest, simplest, most convenient way to vote in this area.
Registration for voting by mail closes in a few weeks (Oct 25th, 2009). If you are not currently registered to vote by mail, you may want to do so for this election.
