If you do, we’re coming up quick on the election for City Council Members in each of these cities.
To help you understand your candidates, and what they stand for, Westlake Revelations is moderating two events: one for each city next week. Questions are based on submissions from the community.
For Westlake Village, Westlake Revelations is producing the Candidates Forum for the City of Westlake Village City Council (three candidates for two positions). The event, held Monday, October 3, 2011, at 7pm at Oak Forest Estates Clubhouse, is sponsored by: Westlake Revelations, Oak Forest HOA, and the League of Women Voters (with support from Westlake Village Boy Scout Troop 485).
For Agoura Hills, Westlake Revelations has been asked to also moderate the Candidates Forum for the City of Agoura Hills City Council candidates (four candidates for two positions). The event, held Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 7pm at Willow Elementary, is sponsored by: Westlake Revelations, Morrison Ranch HOA, League of Women Voters, and Agoura Hills schools PFC/PFA.

Directions:
For those East or North of the lake, take Lindero Canyon south to where it ends at Triunfo, make a left and then a left at the first driveway.
For those South of the lake, take Triunfo east to just past Lindero, and then a left at the first driveway.
The gate is the entrance to Oak Forest. Make a right after going through the gate and follow the road around to the “Clubhouse”. This is where the debate is being held.

The debate will be held in the multi-purpose room adjacent to the main parking lot.
Debate Structure
The structure of the debates will be as follows:
* Candidates will be randomly ordered for statements, and on a rotating order for questions
* Each candidate will have an opening and a closing statement
* Westlake Revelations will gather questions/topics from the community as the basis for moderator questions
* Audience participants may be able ask questions, time permitting
