CBSLosAngeles.com — which is made up of CBS Channel 2, KCAL 9, KNX1070, and KFWB 980 — has launched Most Valuable Blogger Awards 2011. Nominations have been going on since late July and ended last Friday. Westlake Revelations has now been named a finalist in the “Local Affairs” category. According to CBS’ web site, “After much deliberation and careful consideration of many nominees, CBS Los Angeles has narrowed the field of Finalists down for this year?s MVB. Let your voice be heard ? vote now!”
Readers have been asking us questions about the rules and how it works, so here’s the answers for everyone to the questions we’re getting:
* The public can vote every day, once per day, between now and September 9th
* The blog that receives the most total votes in each category will be named as the “Popular Vote” winner for that category
* Vote at http://losangeles.blogger.cbslocal.com/most-valuable-blogger/vote/local/
While Westlake Revelations is more a newsletter and not really a blog in the way most people use the word, the web site archives are a blog in their structure. Either way, we appreciate CBS recognition as a finalist.
