The Annual Westlake Village City Celebration is all new this year. Different time: Saturday, October 23, Starting at 2:00 PM and going into the evening. New parts include BBQ dinner, Twilight Run, Local Community Performance Showcase, Finale Concert and more. Magic Show, White Oak PFC Fun Fair, Triunfo YMCA Haunted House, Bicycle Safety are all part of the activities.

The Annual Westlake Village City Celebration to Be Held On Saturday, October 23, Starting at 2:00 PM
Each year, the City of Westlake Village partners with several community organizations to host the Westlake Village City Celebration. Now in its 8th year, the City Celebration has become an annual community gathering that takes place entirely at the Westlake Village Civic Center. The 2010 City Celebration will be held on a new day and time as the event moves to Saturday, October 23, beginning at 2:00 pm. The early afternoon and evening times allow for a few new events this year including a twilight 5K and finale concert. A full breakdown of the day?s exciting activities is listed below.
Magic Show
The event kicks off with a free magic show sponsored by the Friends of the Westlake Village Library at 2:00 pm. The show will be held on the main stage in the Westlake Village Civic Center courtyard.
BBQ Dinner
Chow down at this year?s City Celebration with a BBQ dinner hosted by the Triunfo YMCA. The dinner features hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and water or juice for $5 per person. The BBQ dinner begins at 4:30 pm and ends at 8 pm.
White Oak PFC Fun Fair
Join your friends and neighbors in supporting White Oak Elementary School at the White Oak PFC Fun Fair. The Fun Fair will feature new games, rides, and activities. In addition, there will be plenty of game booths to test your skills and win great prizes. The Fun Fair opens at 2:00 pm and runs until 9:00 pm.Westlake Village City Celebration
Twilight Run 5K and 1 mile run and walk
The new City Celebration Twilight Run offers local runners an alternative to early morning races and a choice between a 5K and a 1 mile course. Haunted House
The Triunfo YMCA Haunted House returns to help get you in the Halloween spirit. The Haunted House is designed and hosted by the YMCA Teen Program, Youth and Government. The Haunted House will be located in the Westlake Village Community Room.
Bicycle Safety City
The Lost Hills Sheriff?s Station will offer ?Bicycle Safety City?, a program designed to teach young bike riders safe and fun bike riding skills. ?Bicycle Safety City? was created and built by the Lost Hills Sheriff?s Station in cooperation with the Cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Lost Hills, Malibu, and Westlake Village.
Local Community Performance Showcase and Finale Concert Featuring ?The Hodads?
New this year is a Local Community Performance Showcase featuring local entertainers including dancers, musicians, actors, and animal acts on the main stage throughout the day. The showcase will conclude with a spectacular finale concert performed by Southern California?s Hottest Party Band ?The Hodads?.
