Outstanding Cell Questions, and Clarifications

Some outstanding questions and clarifications.

First, a correction. At least some of the lawn signs were STOLEN not taken down by homeowners.

[OPINION ON]
Not only is that breaking the law, it’s not appropriate behavior regardless of anyone’s position on the issue. Stealing a lawn sign is at least as bad as those that mislead others on informatio, or prevent people from asking questions in an open forum.

Remember, this is a community. Be civil. Be neighbors.

Other questions:

Below are some links that have NOT been reviewed by Westlake Revelations, but readers have sent in regarding health impacts of cell sites. Westlake Revelations has no idea whether they are credible references or not.

The City of Westlake Village will *not* receive revenue from the cell antenna. Any revenue would go to the water district (LVMWD).

There’s been some questions on recusal. Councilperson McSweeney has recused herself. We’ve gotten questions on recusals. The city council person “recusal rule focuses on whether or not a City Councilmember’s residence is located within 500 feet of the proposed” site because there is a presumption that it could materially affect their financial interest.

There’s a lot of confusion about the tree types and design. The tree proposed is not one of the “antiquated” designs seen along the 405 or in other areas. You can see a picture of it at the bottom of the page at: https://westlakerevelations.com/?q=node/223
