The City of Westlake Village has announced the details of the upcoming 7th annual City Celebration on October 25th, from 7am-2pm. This year’s event includes:

– Pancake Breakfast
– White Oak PFC Fun Fair
– 5 and 10 K plus 1 mile run and walk

Westlake Village City Celebration
Offers A Day?s Event For The Entire Family

The 7th Annual Westlake Village City Celebration is scheduled for Sunday, October 25th from 7 am ? 2 pm. This event celebrates the people, families, and organizations that make the City of Westlake Village special. City Celebration features seven events offered in one location.

Pancake Breakfast

Kick-off City Celebration with a hearty breakfast hosted by the Triunfo YMCA. The all-you-can-eat breakfast features pancakes, sausage, and orange juice for $4 per person. The pancake breakfast starts at 7 am and is open until 11 am.

White Oak PFC Fun Fair

Join your friends and neighbors in supporting White Oak Elementary School at the White Oak PFC Fun Fair. The Fun Fair will feature all of your favorite inflatable games, rides, and activities. In addition, there will be plenty of game booths to test your skills and win some great prizes. The Fun Fair opens at 8 am and runs until 2 pm.

Westlake Village City Celebration Run
5 and 10 K plus 1 mile run and walk

The City Celebration Run offers something for runners/walkers of all abilities. The scenic course travels along Westlake Lake and starts and finishes at the City Celebration Headquarters. All runners receive a free pancake breakfast after the race and a ticket to one of the Fun Fair attractions. Pet and Family Costume Parade

New this year will be a pet and family costume parade. The parade is open to the public. No registration is required and costumes are optional. Participants will line-up at the City Celebration entrance at 8:45 am and the parade will begin at 9:00 am. The parade will end at 9:30 am concluding with special treats available for all pets.

Harvest Boutique

The Harvest Boutique will return this year featuring a variety of new and returning vendors. Start your holiday shopping early by visiting many local artisans at this fall boutique. Choose from Children?s Books & Toys, Dolls, Jewelry, Clothing, Purses, Accessories, Hand Crafted items, and more. The Boutique will be open from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Social Services Fair

New this year is a Social Services Fair featuring local non-profit groups that provide assistance to residents in the community. Residents can learn about volunteer opportunities and the associated services available to them in their own backyard. Local organizations such as Senior Concerns, The Wellness Community, Conejo Valley Women?s Resource Center, Many Mansions, Hospice of the Conejo, AAUW Thousand Oaks Branch, Lutheran Social Services, MANNA food bank, and Catholic Charities Ventura Region are planning to participate.

Magic Show

The Friends of the Westlake Village Library will be sponsoring a free magic show beginning at 2:00 pm. The show will be held in the City Council Chambers.
