Westlake Village City Celebration Kicks Off
With a Special Screening of Classic Horror Films
Just For Teens

On Saturday, October 24, the City of Westlake Village and the Triunfo YMCA are teaming up to offer a free screening of two classic horror films for local teens. This outdoor movie experience kicks off the 7 th Annual Westlake Village City Celebration. The 1931 version of “Frankenstein” will be shown at 6:30 pm followed by “The Mummy” from 1932.

Middle School and High School aged students, who are looking to get into the Halloween spirit, are encouraged to bundle up, bring lawn chairs, blankets, or bean bag chairs to settle in and enjoy these classic horror films. The movies will be shown outdoors at the Westlake Village Civic Center, located at 31200 Oak Crest Drive in Westlake Village. Triunfo YMCA teen programs will be selling popcorn, soda, candy and other treats.
